About

Hi, I am Caitlyn Balderas, Founder of Haven Homes. I am blessed to be a Realtor in the best city in the country to live and work: Austin, Texas. Over the last 4 years, I have helped countless families invest in their futures through the buying and selling of real estate. Throughout that process, I have become friends with my clients and am thankful for the relationships that have been formed through my business.

When I’m not selling properties and running Haven Homes, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Jimmy, and my four kids, Tucker, Ava, Sadie, & Carter, exploring the lakes and rivers of the Austin area. We enjoy jet skiing, eating at Austin’s yummiest restaurants, and attending Austin Stone Church.

Haven Homes was born out of a desire to help people from all walks of life achieve their dreams through real estate. Whether it’s first time home buyers purchasing a place to start making memories, a family ready to move up to a larger home, empty nesters ready to downsize, or investors building their legacy, all of our clients have dreams. And through investment in real estate, they can start the path to accomplishing their plans.

What makes Haven Homes stand out? We treat our clients like family. We provide the kind of service and care that we would give to our own loved ones. Buying or selling a home is one of the largest decisions a person will make. It will affect your financial status, it will enable you to meet the people in your neighborhood, and it’s where you will experience life. This is a big decision! And we at Haven Homes take the honor of helping guide you in that decision seriously. We are grateful to be able to hold your hand through the process.

Haven Homes believes in giving back to the world around us. Every month we contribute to the International Justice Mission and Broken Hearts and Calloused Hands. Between those two organizations, we are helping women and children at a local and global level to receive help and freedom.

When I show land out in the country, my clients us When I show land out in the country, my clients usually apologize for making my drive so far. I always thank them, I love the opportunity. It gives me the chance to see new areas, drive winding roads, and time to talk to Jesus. ❤️
Today I couldn’t help but pull over and take a photo of this spot. The photo does not do it justice. The colors were so vivid and it was perfectly quiet and peaceful. I’ll drive to the country anytime 🚙

Now his parents bought him and his brothers a beautiful home to make memories in. ❤️ I’m so thankful to be able to have friends that become clients. Congrats Bezzam family! 😄🎉🙌🏻

It took a super great offer, well crafted family letter, and a lot of prayers, but we were able to make this house a home for my clients. ❤️

Built in 1935 (and possibly earlier) so much history, and so many new memories to make. Congrats  to my clients! Thanks for trusting me to help you ☺️🎉🏡
I've heard the average person knows 8 Realtors 🤔 There are many of us! So, I wanted to let you know what is unique about me. 😊

If you don't have a Realtor, I'd love the honor of being yours! 😄❤️🏡

I struggled to get anything accomplished last week I struggled to get anything accomplished last week during the storm. We lost power for 4 days, had no cell or internet service for 36 hours, had no way of knowing what was happening, we’re displaced, everything was cancelled. After almost a full year of living in an alternate reality trying to survive COVID, we also had to try to survive during the storm of the century in the south.

Part of me feels dramatic even saying this. We are safe and warm and blessed because of our friends, and cared for by so many. We had no permanent property damage, but know many people who have.

But I think it’s important to recognize the collective traumas we are going through as a community and understand that it does affect our functioning. We were afraid and people did die and get hurt.

So if you are struggling to “get back to normal” today, take some time to process the bad, appreciate the good, and move at your own pace. You are not a machine built to withstand all difficulties.

Love you all, I hope you have a peaceful week ❤️
Never forget about your local Mexican market 🇲🇽
Plenty of produce and meat, AND the only place I could find tortillas in town.

We chose him because his owner said he was the sweetest one she had 🤗

The kids are overjoyed since I said this would never happen 😂 I saw him on our neighborhood Facebook page and he stole my heart. ❤️
Day three and four: super duper thankful for our k Day three and four: super duper thankful for our kindhearted friends. They fed us, the kids played, everyone was happy 😊 We had some great conversations and we will forever be grateful! Thank you Webber family!

We are now home with power and water, no busted pipes 🙏🏻 Thank you Jesus ❤️
Day One: no power, but we have a fireplace and gas Day One: no power, but we have a fireplace and gas stove. Thank you Jesus! No cell service at all. We all
play in the snow, red books, play games, and sleep by the fire. In the evening, Jimmy, Tuck, and Ava try to go to a store, but every single one is closed. They end up with all of Round Rock at QuikTrip, where the crowd is being managed by police. Everything is sold out expect plantain chips by the time the leave.

Day Two: wake up, still no no power, even by the fire it’s 42° inside the house. Call some hotels, all sold out, our amazing friends Laura and Dennis Webber save the day and invite us to their home, where we will stay until our power returns. It was 13° when we drove over. We drove 10 miles per hour the whole way and we’re sliding around. Texas isn’t built for this.

Preserving this for history, so I can tell my grandkids about the great Texas ice apocalypse of 2021 ❄️

I am praying for everyone, especially those without power, without fireplaces, linemen, first responders, anyone without a warm place to go, the homeless. Be safe 🙏🏻
