The Home Selling Process

Real Estate

1 Mar

Selling your home can be an emotional and complicated process. At Haven Homes, our goal is to make it as smooth and positive as possible. In this blog post, we’ll outline the key steps involved in the process of selling your home.

  1. Prepare Your Home for Showings We will do a walk-through with you to create a list of items I recommend you complete to prepare your home for market. This involves decluttering, depersonalizing, and deep cleaning your home to make it as attractive as possible to potential buyers. I will also provide tips on how to stage your home and make it look its best for showings.
  2. Price Your Home We will work with you to determine the right price for your home. This involves looking at comparable homes in your area, the condition of your home, and the current market conditions. Setting the right price is important to attract potential buyers and ensure that you get the most money possible for your property.
  3. List Your Home Once your home is ready for showings and priced correctly, it’s time to list it for sale. We will list your property on the multiple listing service (MLS) and other online real estate websites to reach potential buyers. We will also market your property to other agents and potential buyers to generate interest. At Haven Homes, we utilize social media marketing to get the most eyes on your property as possible.
  4. Show Your Home Once your home is listed for sale, potential buyers will want to see it in person. We will arrange showings and open houses to allow buyers to view your property. It’s important to keep your home clean and ready for showings at all times to make the process as smooth as possible.
  5. Receive and Negotiate Offers When you receive an offer on your home, we will help you review and negotiate the terms. This may involve counteroffers and other negotiations to reach an agreement with the buyer. Once you have an accepted offer, you’ll move forward with the closing process.
  6. Close on Your Home The closing process involves signing a lot of paperwork and finalizing the sale of your home. This includes transferring ownership of the property, paying closing costs, and other fees associated with the sale. Once the sale is complete, you’ll receive the proceeds from the sale of your home.

In conclusion, selling your home involves many steps, but with our help, it can be a smooth and successful process. By following these steps, you’ll be able to prepare your home for sale, market it effectively, and find the right buyer for your property so you can move on to the next chapter of your life!

36 🎂🎁🎉 It’s become a tradition of mine 36 🎂🎁🎉
It’s become a tradition of mine to reflect back on the last year on my birthday. I will never *not* celebrate a birthday, because it means I’m still alive. ✨And I want to remember all the things God and I went through in each year. ❤️

I could fill a book with all of the things I’ve gone through in the last 365 days. Last year I sat on a beach in Hawaii, alone with my four children, asking God questions that didn’t have answers. Throughout the course of this year, He answered all those questions, and a bunch more that I didn’t see coming. He was faithful to me when I could barely breathe. I saw a new side of Him this year, He is so much more gentle than I ever had the capacity to experience. And He carried me when I couldn’t even stand. I’ll follow Him forever, I’ll love Him all my days, He is my favorite ❤️

I was so happy to get to this birthday. It felt like a finish line of some sorts. I’m ready to let the past go and fully live in this new present that God and I have built together. I hadn’t thought much beyond today, but when Sadie said “good night to the 35 year old for the last time” last night (a family tradition) she said: “I hope this is a year you get to regroup.” She said it several times. And I have learned to listen carefully to this girl, especially when she says things out of the ordinary, because she has a prophetic gift. I looked up the definition of regroup: “to reorganize (as after a setback) for renewed activity.” That sounds just about right. ❤️ I’m ready. Let’s see what 36 has to offer 😊
